Herpes Viruses Association (HVA) offers advice and information about cold sores and genital herpes. Nearly everyone carries the virus that causes these, but only a few of us are plagued by outbreaks. The HVA is a patient support organisation offering a helpline, website, leaflets and quarterly journals about herpes simplex (genital herpes and cold sores). The helpline is run by trained volunteers who can answer medical questions on the condition as well as counsel people with the psychological worries that sometimes affect people. Lactation Consultants of Great Britain (LCGB) are International Board Certified Lactation Consultants, (IBCLC) and support breastfeeding families in a variety of situations. St James’ Priory Project: Drug & Alcohol Addiction Treatment - St James’ Priory Project provides abstinence based support and treatment for people with a substance dependency. Walsingham House is a ‘first stage’ residential rehab service for up to 14 people and includes an integrated Dual Diagnosis programme. Treatment lasts 12 weeks.
