This book is great. I wanted to learn to ski but was nervous about going out onto even a beginner slope with no idea of what i was doing. This book covers the basics and took away the mystery. It also offers great tips and advice on all parts of a skiing/snowboarding holiday including what to wear, where to go, and how to keep safe. It even has a chapter on working in a ski resort. A great starting point for any would be skiers/snowboarders and anyone wanting to plan a snow holiday.

A really good book! Gives you a really good idea of what to expect starting to ski, gives terminology etc. I also want to book my first trip away to ski, the book pointed out all the best places to go and even what to take, I would have never even considered packing muscle rub which is actually quite obvious!! It is a major help! Canada here I come..!
